Garbage products from a Chinese owned company. Shame on GE. I'm looking for an attorney to get me out of the washer/dryer combo monstrosity I purchased last December that is already having all the hoses replaced.

Poorly engineered, hunk of junk. Shame on GE.

A wolf in sheep's clothing. The Chinese found their American CEO to tout in front of viewers "we're American! we're choosing to do this!" instead of the truth: "My Chinese owners want to make it seem like we're more American than we are and are forcing me to do this or else I'll get fired"

GE used to have their corporate Identity based in Schenectady, New York. During the 1950 thru the 1980's, GE employed Tens of Thousands of workers all across the state of New York in dozens of locations making all kinds of consumer products, aerospace needs, and military equipment. GE, IBM, and Carrier Corp were the high tech of the day, each employing many thousands of New Yorkers.

Of course, during the Bill Clinton and NAFTA years, production was moved OUT OF THE USA, leaving shuttered factories all over the State of New York and across the USA. For every production line that GE moved to other places around the world, that also meant their suppliers and other vendors lost business, too, as well as all the small businesses in every community that were supported by dollars generated by GE workers.

It's about time that GE is bringing factories and jobs back to the USA. Here where they belong, even if not in New York state where they once were.

We cannot hold former GE decision makers accountable for 60 years of bad decisions, but we can definitely welcome the new generation of GE investment in new factories and new jobs.

There is no easy road to success Lumberman build roads to their timber for market. The problem with Americans at the moment is they have a media that behaves like a chameleon they take color from the environment and give nothing. Americans have bequeathed their manufacturing to other countries . We see a significant population of Americans who are thermometers they are happy to adjust and fit into the environment. These are turbid lukewarm individuals who accept the situation. We need thermostats , people who control the environment.
