One tip that’s saved me a lot is combining loyalty points with discounts. Many people forget about points until they expire, which is basically throwing money away. I try to redeem them only when there’s a sale already running. That way the savings double. I also avoid checking out too fast—taking an extra minute to look for a code can make a difference. PromoPro UK has been useful for that because it cuts down the guesswork. I’m not saying every code works, but when one does, it feels like a small win. Shopping smarter doesn’t mean buying less fun stuff, just paying less for it.
I've been watching so many of these budgeting videos lately because 2025 has definitely started off a bit pricey at the checkout counter! Your point about the 'no-buy' rules for certain categories is exactly what I needed to hear. Personally, I found that my biggest budget killer was just 'popping in' for one item and leaving with five. Now, I try to plan every meal around what I already have in the freezer. In my journey to be more intentional with my spending, I actually found Valuecom while looking for tools to help me compare prices and manage my shopping lists better. It’s been quite a game-changer for staying disciplined. I also started taking pictures of my receipts to really face the reality of what I’m spending on snacks vs. actual meals. It’s a bit of a wake-up call, but it really helps! Thanks for sharing your routine, it’s super encouraging to know others are focused on the same goals this year.
Not 2025, but I am watching this to save up to pay off my student debt. Just finished up me BA in Psych in December and about to go into graduate school 😅🤞🏼
This seems like something that everybody is now interested more and more. I was also looking for a way to save money and something that really helped me apart from trying a lot of other things was Valuecom. People should be informed how to save, because that's really important, especially to save now with the increased prices of everything out there. I did try a lot of ways, also some scams out there, I am usually skeptical, but this was something I was really interested in and I don't regret. I would recommend it to everyone that is looking for a way to save.
Who's here waiting for 2026🎉😂
ok
Yea my weekly grocery bill is only $7/week . The key is engineer your life to have as near zero expenses as possible. I diet like a minimalist, self-reliant. Breakfast – Rolled oats with water, Lunch / Dinner – 100g Dry Yellow Split Peas with 100g rice. 80-90g protein, 1700 cals per day. Good enough to maintain a gymnast physique. Free coffee at work.
This how you build real power in the system. Its old school sports nutrition method. My total food bill is $365 a year, its even cheaper than people who live off grid. Its high protein, high calories, vegetarian, costs next to nothing, and ingredients last forever. Its a solid blueprint and works.
So I've been looking around for great ways to save money, including websites, apps, and extensions that will also check coupons to make sure they actually work. Coupert is a great option if you're looking for an browser extension that will give you a coupon that actually works quickly. However, VALUECOM is definitely better, in my opinion, because you can go to pages for specific companies, stores, and websites and find the deals and coupons that are going to be the absolute best for you. For example, since I don't drive I use Uber to get around a lot of the time and their Uber page has well over 30 coupons and discounts listed. Definitely a great way to find coupons and save money.
Right now, I am working towards a no by year for 2026. How do you navigate your parents always over consumption buying you things that you don’t need at a moments notice and then they get offended when you say that’s not what you need.
I shop at Aldi.
Who’s here before a million views?
Well it is the end of August and I’m tired of spending so much on groceries. My fixed income hasn’t went up bur everything else has
The biggest way to make a huge difference in the environment is to go on a plant based diet.

Girl im here because i want to cut down on groceries. Theres no way im spending R3000/$170 a month on Food. No No No its like i paid off my other debts only to increase spending on food😭😭😭😭
My grandma taught me to make a grocery plan every week at the minimum. You make a menu with similar ingredients with what is in season then look for coupons for those things and pantry items, and necessities. Meal prep or leftovers are your lunch. You'll spend less time cooking, cleaning, shopping, and just generally save yourself time making one day a week for chores and errands. Laundry is twice a week or every three days so that it's not overwhelming. Clothes and linens. I'm in my 30's my grandparents lived through the Great Depression as children. (Long lives) My grandparents would tell you not buy anything with a subscription because you're not likely to use it all the time. The only subscriptions they had were utilities (water/gas/electric) Minimal TV service for the news and NASCAR. I have a list of what is in the fridge on the fridge. So I don't eat impulsively.
I love this video thank you sooo much!!!❤❤❤😊
My partner and I are getting engaged soon, and we need to finish paying off the rings and save money for engagement party and other stuff! And even though it's years down the line I want to save enough money to start investing for my future kid as soon as they're born.
Love the video! Do you plan to do a shorter hairstyle in the near future? I have a tip on saving at the salon.

I just got married on Friday and we want to have a baby so I'm trying to save money and eat healthier with less waste this year
Just discovered your channel and I love the type of content you make! Overconsumption snuck up on me, as I often buy second hand. I realized I was just buying MORE because the price tag was lower. Really enjoying content lately about using what I already have
This video motivated to get up and touch grass! We don’t have to spend to have fun! All we need is our loved ones and fresh air
Heming tape is wonderful ❤
just my opinion, all the packaging in online market is not really zero waste, healthy though. for us, we go to local groceries and buy the fresh produce, make our own and cook our own food🎉🎉
This is awesome!! Buy nothing groups!!! Love love love! This is so helpful!🎉❤😊
What bike do you have?
I am andmin for my local buy nothing group and this weekend we will have an unsale 😊, we invited our community to bring their stuff and set at a table for any member to take home 😊 this is our 2nd annual unsale and its been pretty fun. After the event is over we take the items to a donation place. Food items go to the local food pantries.
Learning to mend! I've fallen in love with darning socks and knitwear, and so many beautiful visible mending methods that bring something special and unique to your wardrobe.
But seriously, mending wool socks is SO DAMN COOL. I yard sale and eBay for darning wool!
this video is perfect! I loved it
My incentive for saving this year is that I don't want to contribute to a Trump economy. No thank you
Thank you for this! You can’t do all the good the world needs but the world needs all the good that you can do!
I started 2 weeks ago doing an inventory on everything I own slowly, and it's making a word of a difference in time, money and stress. If you find an app for it I would love to know more about it. Thanks girl, I love your suggestions, videos and positive vibes.

Love this! 🙌🏼 So many great tips for saving money in 2025—especially with groceries and life hacks. It’s all about being smart with your spending and making small changes that add up. Definitely going to try a few of these ideas! 💡💸 Thanks for sharing such practical advice!"
I recently created an itemized list of my pantry/kitchen items it definitely isn’t as pretty and put together as yours ( I have a newborn) I am now using chat gpt to help me come up with recipes to use up what I have- less food waste and save money!
I want to tell you that No buy challenge is not available for everybody especially from a country like Egypt , we are buying the lowest quality with the lowest price to just pass the seasons (clothes for an example ) , I am using the internet of my work to see your videos secretly, if my manager know , he will fire me 😂
Thank you so much for this video. It was very informative.
