I agree with No 1 but I need you to buy my clothes
Not buying for a fantasy life, was so good. I never thought about that. Now I'll be asking myself, is this for my life or a fantasy life?
Just did the sa.e 👠 in the garbage plus more
I feel seen😂
Kanopy is another app through library movies documentaries etc. from all over the world. I think hoopla has magazines and new music
Your tips are realistic for everyday people — that’s why this video hits different.”
Clothes, shoes, accessories 🙏🏾
Get a library card at your local library. If a book that you want to read is not available, you can suggest to add it to the library collection. Have a child? Take them to the library to get a book or let them attend a free class or presentation. Retired or out of work? Use library databases for self-education.
You know me so well, I think I did everything you spoke about.
Using products I already have and not buying more because it's on sale and I can stock up is not working for me. Yes, there's a deal, but I have enough. I'm working on decluttering my home (a significant task), and I feel stressed with the stockpile I have. It feels like more clutter and $ wasted.😣. It's really an effort to not buy (scarcity mindset). But, I'm getting better at it.
Fantasy life. That’s such a clever description. I am guilty. I buy it but I’m not going. 🤔 oh my goodness.
I need to and will fix lunch at home more often.
Books you don’t have time to read.
I am grateful across your channel you are helping me redefine my finances
Hmmm it is so easy to stop doing some of these things only to replace it with another budget killer. I stopped buying clothes because I learned to sew BUT…now I'm buying fabric especially on a seasonal sale…needless to say, I have two rooms full of unused fabric because I am too busy to make the clothes:( Hopefully over the holidays I will draft up some outfits to wear to the office next year. Thank you for the tips, I approve and agree with all of them😍
Stay off TikTok… the new QVC
This was a fantastic video! I completely agree with you that purchasing duplicates is a complete waste of money. I've bought a bunch of products in the past, and it is always a waste of money, especially when things expire. Now it makes me so happy to get through my empties and to finally throw things out. It's also great for decluttering, too!
Such good reminders! I’ve started with some of these and honestly my brain feels a bit more clear too.
This year I really focused on subscriptions, consolidating, and the empties concept and it’s made so much of a difference. I gave up that fantasy life shopping when I got focused on starting my own business and needed that capital. 😅
I m guilty of all 10 of these budget killers. I gotta do better.
We are literally buying her jewelry that she is wearing by watching this wasting time. 😂
I recently went through a fashion/spersonal syle coaching (for a freaking amount of money), however, it gave me such a clarity in what i need and what i will wear and what not … Since then i am very conscious when i am purchasing anything, shop for new clothes once in a season and not daily and it helped me save so much money already
Use the library for books
Just got hear; lets see how long it takes to get to 'Daily Coffee' and 'subscription services'
Stop eating AT Macdonald 's and so on…
Definitely need to watch the eating out, clothes, and books! Thank you for this video. It was so practical!
These are speaking to my soul. 😂 😭
I am going to use up my skincare before buying more–I always have half-used skincare and then buy some other miracle serum before I've used up the first.
Best advice of mine: Visit a person in an elderly home. There you will see, what you really need in the end and what will stay with you.
Number 1 😢😢😢that hit home hard,i really need to stop doing that 😢
For me home decor also falls firmly into the fantasy life category. Unfortunatley my home is pretty messy most of the time so decor items would not have the intended effect. That stuff always looks great in pictures where there is nothing on the coffee table or the bathtub ledge but the lovely vase or candle – but if you know that that is not usually the case in your home, then it is better not to add to the clutter.
I need to schedule this video to play it to myself every day as a constant reminder!
This video made me so happy.
I never do any of these things. I simply don't desire them.
So I'm gonna call my parents to thank them for raising me this way because it allows me to save without realising.❤
Im so guilty of buying journals and diet diaries 😂 most of the time they look so pretty i dont want to use them to ruin them 🤦♀️🤣
seasonal stuff is tricky – you buy a blouse with a snowman and you wear it few times for 2 months and you can't wear it anymore and later you forgot you even have one – better to buy some accessories – hat, scarf, earings, they're not very expensive and don't need much room to storage
I was not ready to be called out for my fantasy life wardrobe lol
Before I retired, I drove a school bus. By the time I got done with the afternoon route, I was really tired. So, as a reward, I'd buy "to go". Not only was it expensive, it would keep my blood sugar higher than it should have been. I'm trying to eat at home and better. It's still a struggle for the blood sugar, but it's les expensive.
Libraries for free movie apps!
