Caleb is better than me cuz this is the most respectful I’ve ever seen him and buddy was getting mouthy. We would have shut that shit up real quick because you’re the one in hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt and can’t afford to retire and pay your mortgage so don’t get mouthy with me.
If he kept his house in the first bankruptcy, he should do it again. The credit card companies more than deserve it in this case. And they finally may start rejecting him, even if he doesn't change.
If I ever end up in Caleb's episode, I think I would be coming out crying like a little baby. Caleb is not afraid to tell you the truth! I need someone like him when I'm fixing to do something stupid!
He’s just going to keep spending and expect the taxpayers to take care of him when he physically can’t work anymore. He will be working until his health won’t allow it sadly.
The labels he made on himself…worst part about this guy is that he pretends to take accountability by saying that Caleb is right and he sucks but then right after that when he asked why he does it he says I don’t know instead of saying I wanted to spend more I did not care about the effect it had on my future and my wifebecause of that, he will never get out of his situation
The labels he made on himself told the entire story in the first five minutes when he said that he was not like his brother, and he was the black sheep of the family. He put himself in this prison and never held himself accountable
What's crazy is that guy grew up in the era where you work 20 years at company X and you get retirement. Now he's in his 60s working in a world that will fire him for a younger, faster, and cheaper person, assuming they can't pass your job to an Indian or AI.
This is literally the exact idea of a liberal mindset. Someone with higher education and say “I’m SMART I have a degree” this guy doesn’t know the first thing about common sense.
I think that this guy thinks he'll just keep working. He doesn't understand that one day, he's not going to have the juice to keep going to work or have health issues that challenge his work schedule. That's the moment he'll realize his debt. When he doesn't have an income to pay it. Until then, he thinks he'll just keep running on the hamster wheel of making $ but spending more. His problem has nothing to do with spending $ – it's a symptom.
I have a Verizon card because you get a $10 bill credit for auto pay + 2% in rewards. Just pay my bill with the card for the benefits, then pay the balance every month. The issue isn't having a Verizon card – it's using it irresponsibly.
This one breaks my heart. Ted, you are so humble to come on the show and we appreciate you for being on the show! It takes a lot of guts to come on here and take advice from someone so much younger than you – Bravo Ted 🙂 We all hope that his advice helped and that you are living your best life! IS there a follow up from ted? I hope he’s doing well!
Loved this episode. It really shows what happens when you don't prepare for tomorrow. My dad is around the same age and doesn't want to retire but has the freedom to do it today if he wants.
I hope this man will change something but I'm scared he won't. If he doesn't know anything at 62 and has kept up these bad habits for this long, how is he gonna change now..

Somehow, even after a long conversation in this episode, we uncovered EVEN MORE wild stuff about his past in today's Post Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLe_q9axMaeTbjN0hy1Z9xA/join

This one actually broke my heart. You can tell Caleb really wanted to be able to help him and get him out of his situation.

Can we have an update on this man? Is he under the bridge yet?

$906 just for the privilege of using his own money. That's how dumb credit cards are!
This is so sad he got himself into that much debt. I hope he’s ok
More old people please

The whole way to make retirement money is compounding, and he's too old to do that now. He's probably just going to be working until he dies…
Does he have children? What can he do so that they are not held responsible for his debt.
I love the idea of cashing out all my retirement accounts and buying a car. Then calebs voice pops into my head and I reconsider 😅
Love seeing someone in their 60's here. The answer is the same no matter the age. Eliminate debt. Snowball it. Earn your freedom.

The man smacks more without food in his mouth than my toddler does with food in her mouth.
These guests on this show should be ashamed of themselves. They can’t control themselves.
Life can be hard. You wither make it harder now or harder later. When you play now you make it harder later. This is his later.
That head shake at 31:05 is hilarious 😅
He thought he got a reward for more credit cards than anybody else for a second. 😅

I am in my 20s and feel sorry for these older folks.
Credit One: What’s in your pocket?
I feel for him the only thing that he is not regretting is sending money to his daughter
Its painful to watch these people..
"I'm not my brother" already tells me everything I need to know about this person.
Most episodes are FA. This one is FO. 😢
This guy is so sweet.

Holy shit
Is there a follow-up? 🙁 I need to know if he was able to turn it around
1:11 Uh oh…
Omfg I love this 32:55
I would love to see an update on this guy.

A FULL TIME retail management position – and no benefits?
Dude, go literally ANYWHERE else.

This is the weirdest dude….."why"? "Why"? He's like an enigma to his own self.
